The amount of sleep needed each night varies widely with each person. Every person needs a set amount of sleep in order to be fully rested and alert during the day. Research has shown when healthy adults are allowed to sleep unrestricted, the average time slept is 8 to 8.5 hours. Some people need more while others need less.

It is important to nourish your hair before you go to bed. For those with dry and fragile hair, this is a must-do. Take a small amount of leave-in conditioner in your palm and run it through your hair gently. You can skip this step if you have already applied leave-in conditioner during the day. follow by a good penetrating oil like DAILYCURLZ oil mix.
Don’t: Expose your hair to rough fabrics.
Do: Sleep on silk pillow cases.
If your hair is extremely sensitive, opt for soft pillows and pillowcases that are made out of satin silk or soft cotton. When you sleep, your hair rubs against the pillow and against itself, which can lead to breakage. Softer materials are kinder to the hair shaft.
