Winter Wonderland in Southern California

Winter Wonderland in Southern California? Yes my darling, we may not have what you call a usual winter landscape straight from a holiday card, but let me tell you that we have the best winter with a variety of landscapes. If you add that we have the best weather in the country, and an amazing and cultural variety, you sure have a Winter Wonderland in Southern California.
Do you want to build a snowman? Ok, maybe not so much the building a snowman part. For most of us Southern California natives, we know good and well that there aren’t many places where we can actually get a true winter experience without taking a road trip up to the mountains. Luckily, we have Winter Fest–a magical event at the OC Fair & Event Center that provides SoCal’s ultimate winter experience for everyone!
Winter Fest is a truly magical event featuring ice tubing, a two million light walk-through show, ice skating, snow play with real snow blown in daily, nightly Christmas tree lighting ceremony, carnival rides, festive entertainment, seasonal eateries, visits with Santa and so much more. This year’s event is truly magical and bigger than ever, offering more fun, more food, and an exponentially expanded lineup of holiday entertainment. I was able to attend the fair for the first time and me and my daughters had the time of our lives. It was a magical time sorrounded by holiday music, tons of light, winter games, carnival rides and fun for all ages. Keep your calendar updated and add this activity into your holidays plans. This is the best way to enjoy a winter wonderland in Southern California without even leaving home in a safe and magical environment.
