The three hottest rooftops in LA |3 lugares que debes visitar este verano

Los Angeles is home to some of the most prominent entertainment in the world. Recently, I was able to see it for myself while exploring various rooftops bars and pools around the city. Though there was an abundant variety to choose from, I hand-picked the three hottest rooftops in LA that were my absolute favorite, and that I believe are a must-see for anyone visiting the city.

1. Upstairs Bar at the Ace Hotel screams a classic California ambiance. With a laid-back staff and a very hip millennial atmosphere, it’s the perfect place to lay down, drink a cocktail, and enjoy an afternoon. There is a valet conveniently located at the entrance of the hotel, and it’ll only cost you $7 to park so that you can spend time at the rooftop for three hours. However, make sure you get a validation from the hotel. Honestly, I couldn’t imagine a better way to spend three hours.
2. The next rooftop was one I had been trying to visit for the past year, and now became completely undone by anticipation. The Rooftop At The Standard Hotel is perfection. The roof consists of greenery covering the entire patio, a biergarten, and a pool that needless to say will not make you feel like leaving anytime soon. Not only is the Rooftop at the Standard impeccable, but the entire hotel has a certain unique timeless character about it, infusing a hint of vintage in its modern vibes. Be careful though, if you aren’t staying at the hotel you may be prompted for a $35 fee per person for pool access, yet the bar and restaurant are completely open to the public. Though I’m sure if you start racking up the bill on margarita pitchers you won’t have any problems.
3. Last but not least is the SkyBar at the Mondrian Hotel in West Hollywood. Walking onto the deck felt like a breath of fresh air. This was my ideal spot for relaxation: there was music, drinks, and waitstaff dressed in bikinis. Although it is not on a roof, the SkyBar has by far the best city view of Los Angeles out of all these three. It quickly became my personal favorite, and I’m sure it’ll soon be yours as well.

Los Ángeles es el hogar de algunos de los lugares mas espectaculares del mundo. Recientemente tuve la oportunidad de verlo por mí misma, mientras que exploraba varios bares de piscina de la ciudad muy acorde con la época de calor que se nos viene encima. Aunque hay varias propuestas como esta, aquí les presento mis 3 favoritos y pienso que si vives aquí o estas de visita debes de darte una vuelta por uno (o todos ) de ellos.

1. Upstairs Bar en el hotel Ace, es un ambiente clásico muy al estilo California. Con un personal relajado y un ambiente muy de moda del milenio, es el lugar ideal para relajarse, tomar uno de sus famosos cocteles y disfrutar de una tarde en compañía de amigos. Cuentan con un conveniente servicio de valet parking y el parqueo cuesta $7 dólares por tres horas, solo asegurate de validar tu tickets. Honestamente, no podía imaginar una mejor manera de pasar tres horas.
2. The Rooftop en el hotel Standard era uno que había estado tratando de visitar desde el año pasado, y les cuento que superó mis expectativas.  La azotea del Hotel Standard es la perfección. El techo esta cubierto por una basta vegetación, un patio espectacular y una piscina de la cual no te dará deseos de irte. No sólo este bar es impecable, pero todo el hotel tiene un cierto aire de originalidad y modernismo con un toque de vintage. Una cosa hay que tomar en cuenta en este bar es que si no estas hospedado en el hotel te pueden cobrar $35 solo por entrar a la piscina, sin embargo, el bar y el restaurante está completamente abierto al público. Aunque estoy segura que si tu cuenta se comienza a inflar con refrescantes margaritas este cargo te los exoneraran.
3. Por último, pero no menos importante es el Skybar en el Hotel Mondrian en West Hollywood. Caminar sobre la cubierta se sentía como un soplo de aire fresco. Este era mi lugar ideal para relajarse/divertirse: música alta, bebidas, camareros vestidos en bikini. Este bar no esta necesariamente en el techo o tejado, pero el SkyBar tiene, con mucho, la mejor vista de la ciudad de Los Ángeles de estos tres. Rápidamente se convirtió en mi favorito personal, y estoy seguro de que pronto será el tuyo también.
