The Best Guide to Visit Las Vegas with Kids Hi chicas, if you follow me on Snapchat (@dailycurlz) you already know that I took a road trip to Vegas for Labor Day weekend. This was my first time at Vegas, and I’m not going to lie, I wanted and want to go there with adults and go wild, but to be honest I wouldn’t feel ok going without my daughters because they are pretty much the only ones in their class that haven’t been to Las Vegas. To be honest with you, it was fun for all of us, surprisingly, Las Vegas is kid friendly and you can find a lot of stuff to do with the little ones. Here are the cool things I found on my road trip to Vegas- with kids.

  • The first thing when you are planning a road trip is to have a safe car, I was lucky to test and drive the Kia Soul 2015. Don’t be fooled by the size of the outside, the Kia Soul is extremely comfortable,  it has A/C, power windows and locks, Bluetooth connectivity comes with the standard. There’s a long list of options like a panoramic sunroof, an eight-inch touchscreen, and Kia’s UVO eServices information system which provides Bluetooth-based smartphone integration, streaming audio and voice command functionality for everything from placing calls to changing radio stations among other cool features.
Due to the Soul’s boxy body and tall roof, interior space is ample for four adults, and the cargo area is sufficient for 24.2 cubic feet of gear .Visiting vegas with kids kia soul review
  • On the road we go, and the first stop is the legendary Route 66, perfect to discuss some history with the little ones, grab something to eat and of course take some selfies. It was really cool for my girls to learn about the history of this legendary route and the movies that were inspired by it like  the movie Cars. vegas road trip
  • Another cool stop to visit on your way to vegas is Ghost town, you will have to pay $8 for adults and $5 per youth (older than 8 I think) but it is all worth it, because this town is full of history and activities.

  • Make sure to book a reservation in a kid friendly hotel, there are a lot to choose from and pretty much in all review pages you will find a lot information on how good or bad they are for kids. I chose the Mandalay Bay, a little more expensive than other kid friendly ones, but it is great for kids, specially for the pool, beach pool, lazy river, and aquarium. Do your research and choose one according to your needs and budget.
  • Visit Vegas Indoor skydiving, fun for the whole family, the experience begins with a brief safety video and demonstration, then you will be fitted into a jumpsuit, helmet, and gloves. Inside the padded wind tunnel you’ll see a DC-3 propeller, a “fan” that generates winds up to 120 miles per hour, located underneath protective safety wire netting.Once the propeller kicks into full gear, you’ll float up to 10 feet above the net.  The staff is just amazing and so gentle and sweet with the kids. You can pretty much walk-in but I really recommend to have a reservation, the least you want is your kids yelling at you because they are booked for the next 4 hours.vegas indoor skydiving
  • Eat at the famous Hash House A Go Go, located inside The LINQ Hotel & Casino, Hash House A Go Go brings its “twisted farm food” concept straight from the Indiana heartland to the heart of the Strip. This restaurant received national attention thanks to the Travel Channel’s show “Man V. Food”. Hash House A Go Go dining features big and tasty plates, it is famous for its chicken and sage waffles but we went towards a different direction. The foods have big portions, but don’t get mistaken by the size, they are just delicious. Remember to save room for their signature cocktails like the BLT Bloody Mary and fresh-squeezed juices for the kids..hash house a go go vegashash house go go menu
  • Vegas is well known for their shows, but a few that your kids will actually enjoy, here are two amazing shows that my kids and I enjoyed a lot, because they are for the whole family.

Dirk Arthur Wild Magic just opened at Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino. He performs Monday-Saturday at 4 p.m. with a thrilling array of spectacular illusions featuring majestic cats. The fast-paced show interweaves comedy with breathtaking big cat magic, beautiful dancers, and large-scale illusions. Arthur has long been a leading advocate for the preservation of endangered species and for the humane and proper care of all animals.  Arthur uses his platform to raise funds for various animal care and conservation programs. In fact, a portion of merchandise sales are donated to organizations that promote awareness and education regarding the importance of wildlife preservation.magic show in vegas

Adam London’s Laughternoon. I laughed like crazy at this show, because it is funny. This afternoon comedy magic show is hilarious and highly engaging – #Quack-tacular, whimsy and with clever slight of hand magic, London has perfected his craft in comedy clubs around the world, including the world famous Magic Castle in Los Angeles. • My kids love chocolate, so while walking and taking pictures at the Vegas Strip, stop by Hershey’s factory and M&M world, get your wallets ready.

These are the things my kids enjoyed at Las Vegas, and it was a lot of fun. If you have visited Las Vegas with kids in the past, please leave me your recommendations, because my daughters are already planning the next visit.
