Our Perfect spring Dresses | Vestidos Perfectos para la Pascua

I can’t believe how early Easter is this year. I know I may say this every year, but this year almost caught me off guard. I was on a mission to find our perfect Easter dresses, I remember the time when I was able to buy “whatever” for my daughters and they were happy, but they are teens and they have their own different tastes and styles which is making shopping for clothes a lot difficult. The stores I like, they call vieja stores, meaning that there is nothing for them, but some of the stores that they want to buy from are not appropriate for their age: transparency, too short, showing a lot of skin, and such. Also on my agenda was putting together the Easter baskets, which I always like to keep it simple: bubbles, candy eggs, Reese’s, Peeps, toys, coloring books etc. When I told my daughters that we had to go shopping for spring and easter they weren’t too excited, until I told them we were going to Kohl’s. Kohl’s is one of the only stores that we find outfits that fit all our individual styles plus all the easter décor, tabletop, seasonal table linens and of course all the goodies for the easter baskets like candy and toys. Kohl’s, is our natural destination to plan and celebrate las Pascuas (Easter).

If you manage to go shopping with your daughters and stick to a list, please give me your tips, because I went to Kohl’s to buy our perfect spring dresses and ended up with 6 t-shirt,  2 pair of shoes, 2 sunglasses, a swimsuit, a PJ, and 6 items from the clearance section, because who can resist a sale? not me. But I can’t complain because my princesses are super happy with their finds, and in one stop I was done with all my easter/ spring shopping.

No puedo creer que tan temprano llego la Pascua de este año. Sé que tal vez digo esto todos los años, pero este año casi me encuentra con la guardia abajo. Mi misión era encontrar vestidos para la primavera/ pascua para mi y las princesas. Atrás quedo la época en al cual podia comprar “lo que fuera” y mis hijas les encantaba, pero ahora que están en la pre y la adolescencia tienen sus propios gustos y no siempre les gusta lo que yo les compro. Ahora les ha dado la tarea de decir que las tiendas que yo voy son tiendas de viejas, lo que en realidad significa que no hay nada para ellas, jajaja, también esta el dilema que en la mayoría de las tiendas las ropas para jovencitas tienen mucha transparencias, hoyos, muestran mucha piel, etc.  En mi agenda también estaba formar las canastas de Pascua, las cuales me gusta que sean sencillas: burbujas, huevos de caramelo, Reese’s, Peeps juguetes, libros para colorear, etc. Cuando le dije a mis hijas que teníamos que ir de compras para la primavera y Pascua no estaban muy contentas, hasta que les dije que íbamos a Kohl’s. Kohl’s es una de las pocas tiendas en donde encontramos outfits que se ajustan a todos nuestros estilos individuales, además encontramos toda la decoración de Pascua, tablero de mesa, mantelería de temporada y por supuesto todas las golosinas para la cesta de la Pascua como dulces y juguetes. Kohl’s, es nuestro destino natural para planificar y celebrar las Pascuas.

Y asi terminamos nuestras compras que originalmente era solo los vestidos y las canastas de pascuas, pero no se ustedes, pero yo no puedo salir con mis hijas sin salirme del presupuesto y aunque salí con nuestros vestidos de primavera también salimos con 6 camisetas, 2 pares de zapatos, 2 gafas de sol, una traje de baño, una pijama, y 6 artículos de la sección de descuento (porque no me puedo resistir a los descuentos). Pero no puedo quejarme, porque mis princesas están super felices con su compra, y yo mas porque hice mis compras de pascuas/primavera en una sola parada.
