Lunar New Year Inspired Hair Style |Peinado inspirado en el Año Nuevo Chino

If you follow me on Instagram, you know that last Friday I was one of the first lucky people to see the new celebration at Seaworld  featuring Asian-inspired entertainment, food and special surprises. The celebration will be all year-long where the park’s Lunar New Year Festival area will be alive with sights, sounds and aromas celebrating Asian culture. Featured will be Asian-inspired culinary offerings and a stage with cultural performances, such as taiko drummers and lion dancers. The Chinese Acrobats of Hebei (A must see) will amaze you with agility and grace displayed throughout seven different acts on the stage at the park’s recently renovated Mission Bay Theater. At the front of the park and at the Lunar New Year Festival area, guests will be greeted with festive red décor and artwork depicting sheep/goat, in honor of the Lunar New Year’s astrological symbol of 2015. And in keeping with the Chinese tradition of wishing good fortune and happiness to family and friends, each SeaWorld guest will receive a red envelope with a special gift inside.

While at SeaWorld and after a whole day of fun, I got inspired to come home and try a makeup and hair style with an Asian twist. 

The style is super simple: Just take a portion of hair at the top of your hair, as big or small as you like, and twist it at the top making a Knot. This style is actually really cute and to give it an Asian twist, just add one or two chopsticks and a red lipstick. No Asian look is finishes without a winged eyeliner, so have fun with a cat eye look.

Si me sigues en Instagram, ya sabras que el pasado viernes fui una de las primeras afortunadas en ver la nueva celebración en Seaworld con entretenimiento, comida y sorpresas de inspiración asiática.  La celebración será todo el año con motivo del festival lunar del Año Nuevo Chino, en donde podrás disfrutar de comidas, aromas y entretenimiento cultural en vivo tales como tambores taiko y bailarines de león. También estará disponible el nuevo show de Los acróbatas chinos de Hebei (Una visita obligada) te sorprenderás con la agilidad y gracia de estos acróbatas en siete actos diferentes en el escenario recientemente renovado Teatro Mission Bay del parque. Al frente del parque y en la zona Lunar Festival del Año Nuevo Chino, los huéspedes serán recibidos con una decoración roja festiva y las ilustraciones que representan las ovejas, en honor del símbolo astrológico del Año Nuevo Lunar de 2015 y de acuerdo con la tradición china de desear buena fortuna y felicidad a la familia y amigos, cada visitante de SeaWorld recibirá un sobre rojo con un regalo especial dentro.

De SeaWorld sale mi inspiración para este divertido peinado y maquillaje, el estilo es muy simple y solo tienes que dividir una porción de cabello en la parte de arriba de tu cabeza (tamaño según tu gusto) y harás un moño alto. Para complementar mi look inspirado en el Año Nuevo Chino, agrega unos palitos chinos sin olvidarme de una piel pálida y mas blanca y un delineado ancho.
