I was recently asked by SheaMoisture to create some unique tips for using a new product and I wanted to share with you how to transform bad hair days into good hair days. One thing I love about my natural hair is that I can pretty much do any style I feel in the mood for. Last week I did a roller set and a few days after, my hair was not what you call very defined. So I decided to do a dry flexirod and in no time I had a totally new style. I washed my hair with the new amazing SheaMoisture line Peace Rose Oil Complex Nourish & Silken Shampoo and Peace Rose Oil Complex Nourish & Silken Conditioner. I found them in the Salon aisle at Target. SheaMoisture can be used to conquer many different hair problems and your personal solution. I also used SheaMoisture Omega 3,6,9 Rescue & Repair Heat Protect Oil Serum and Mongongo & Hemp Seed Oil High Porosity Moisture-Seal Styling Gel. SheaMoisture also offers Argan Oil & Almond Milk Smooth & Tame Shampoo, Conditioner, and Blow Out Cream and Sea Kelp & Pearl Protein Color Extend Shampoo, Conditioner and Leave-In Conditioner, which are next on my list to try! Flexirods on Dry hair.
- On blow dry or roller set hair, apply Omega 3,6,9 Rescue & Repair Heat Protect Oil Serum to hydrate and protect your hair. Then separate your hair into 4-5 sections to make the process of applying the flexirods easier.
- Take a 1″ piece of hair and apply a dime size of Mongongo & Hemp Seed Oil High Porosity Moisture-Seal Styling Gel from roots to end.
- Roll your hair into a Flexirod (I used 3 different sizes). Repeat the process until all your hair is into Flexirods.
- Let your hair air dry or under the dryer.
- Take down the Flexirods and separate your curls as much as you like.
- Use a comb on your roots to add volume.
Now let me hear it from you. How do you transform a bad hair day into a good one? Remember that sharing is caring… This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of SheaMoisture . The opinions and text are all mine. #EveryBodyGetsLove @SheaMoisture
