My natural hair moment of 2011 would be when I finally realized my hair has specific needs. I was so busy buying & using whatever I saw advertised, that I neglected to see what was best for “MY” hair.
my natural hair moment of 2011 came to me when I realized my scalp was drying out, my hair was falling out excessively, my curls looked lifeless and I didn’t know why. I did some research about and discovered that sulfates were bad for curly hair. I got rid of my existing products, switched to all natural & organic and my hair has never looked better :).
My natural hair moment was deciding to transition in April of 2011! And I’m still transitioning 8 months later 🙂

My natural hair moment was when I co-washed my hair and just let it dry naturally (because something else caught my attention on tv) and realized how silky it felt even though I hadn’t covered it with some leave-in conditioner! 😉
