Beauty Bars in New York City / Bares de belleza en New York

You may already know that I am visiting New York City for a few days and while here I wanted to experience the beauty services New York Style, The people of Zyrtec were so kind to hook me up with the best of the best, keeping into consideration that I didn’t want to spend long hours in a hair salon: Rouge makeup bar and DreamDry Blow out bar were the choices, two super chic concepts that I absolutely love, because all women should have access to her own beauty team squad.

ROUGE MAKEUP BAR :

Having your own professional makeup artist can be quite difficult, this kind of service actually only happens if you are a celebrity or going to a very, very special event, good teams for makeup can be hard to come by. The new beauty bar Rouge New York offers a simple solution to that. Rouge New York provides an enjoyable, affordable, reliable makeup application service, their philosophy is that makeup artists should be accessible to all women. Rouge is a place to go to help you design your signature professional look, before a job interview, first date, Saturday (or Wednesday) night out, or the annual meeting.

Rouge offers a variety of makeup services that start at $50, tattoo covers starting at $15, eyebrow touch up for $10, face wax, weddings, Bachelorettes, school fundraisers, and more…I love the professionalism and attention of the makeup artists,  and they were very patient with the girls which was a plus for me, because that kept them quiet and happy while I was being pampered. DreamDry is an express personalized style “salon” or bar, where you walk in (with a reservation) pick your style from the menu, go back to their wet space to get all lathered up, and then it’s over to your styling station for the ultimate blow dry, faster than I ever experience before and with very professional stylists that do a magnificent job. I really like the final look on my daughters, which was intended for me, but I was loving my hair so much this week, since last week it was straight, that I passed the service to them. They were really excited to be at a hair salon for the first time and I ended up being like the best mom ever. The people here at the Dreamdry weren’t so nice, and this is the only reason why I maybe consider going back, but that is just me, I just love nice, smiling and loving people, specially if they are touching my hair. Ya saben que ando de vacaciones en la ciudad de Nueva York por unos días y mientras estoy por aquí, quería experimentar algo de los servicios de belleza al New York Style, y gracias a Zyrtec que fueron tan amables y me hicieron reservación en lo mejor de lo mejor de NY tomando en cuenta que no quería pasar horas sentada en un salon de belleza: Rouge makeup bar y DreamDry Blow out bar, dos conceptos super chic que me encantan,  porque todas las mujeres deben tener su propio escuadrón de belleza sin que le cueste un ojo de la cara.

DREAMDRY:

DreamDry es un “salón” de estilo personalizado expreso o bar, donde entras (con reservación) escoges su estilo en el menú, vas detrás a lavarte el cabello, y entonces pasas a las estación con la estilista que te dará un secado a blower magnifico, más rápido de lo que nunca antes experimente y con un alto profesionalismo. Me encanto como le quedo el cabello a las niñas, Dafne eligió unas trenzas en cascadas y Liah un estilo super lacio. Por mi parte, esta semana estoy amando mis rizos y después de tenerlo lacio la semana pasada, no me dio deseos de llevarlo así otra vez, así que el servicio fue para ellas y yo quede como la madre mas cool del mundo. Los empleados en Dreamdry no son tan amables y atentos, y esta es la única razón por la que tal vez consideraría el volver, pero esa soy yo que me mata la gente agradable y sonriente especialmente si se están tocando mi cabello.
