I was amazed to be invited to visit a True family vacation with fun for all at the amazing Nickelodeon Punta Cana. A magical and unique experience adult vacation while the little ones have fun in a safe eviroment. Get there. You get there by plane from any part of the world to the Punta Cana airport. Then you take a 45 minute drive to the resort, the view is just amazing and it actually feels like nothing, even after a long flight from LA.
Once there, you don’t have to leave the property, but if you want to explore around like we did, there is a lot of tour options.
The property. It’s just everything we expected and more. I was totally in love with the swim-on room, it’s like a swimming pool in your backyard. If your budget is higher, choose one of the villas; pure luxury and glamour that comes with a baby sitter included and a whole lot of accommodation to make your vacation unique and enjoyable. 
Yummy. Where to eat? Where do I start? yes it is an all inclusive resort, but it is a gourmet inclusive® experience. They do have a buffet style, but most of the restaurants require reservation. The restaurants are truly a culinary journey that is both delicious and a unique experience by itself that goes from ultra-contemporary cuisine to classical perfection. This, combined with a service staff that makes us feel like queens (or a king, lol). Look out for the dining with the characters where spongebob, dora, ninja turtles, boots, or any other nickelodeon characters will surprise your kids with music and dancing while you enjoy breakfast, set your camera because the picture opportunities are available all day long.
To Do. Your kids will never be bored with Aqua Nick with water slides, splash pads, spray grounds, and a lazy river. Aqua Nick is the place to hang out and get wild. Hit the mark with a water cannon, join a Mass Sliming, or meet at the poolside for a Slime Time photo opportunity. I thought that Dafne (14) was too old for this, but she had a lot of fun as well, For Liah (10) this was her favorite place.
Just Kiddin is a kid club like I have never seen before; It’s a part clubhouse, part artist’s studio. Just Kiddin’ is a place for free play as well as more structured activities for families. I really like that the staff was really friendly. Activities and programs are for kids 4 to 12 years old.
Overall Impresion.. In general I can say that this is the first true family vacation with little kids in mind that I have ever done. The food was really good, the accommodation and decor is breath taking with unique accents every where you look.
You can walk pretty much everywhere in the property, but keep in mind that this is a Caribbean island and the heat and humidity is pretty high, so be ready to sweat if you choose to walk or wait for a golf car.
The check out was at 12, but with a simple phone call to the front desk I was able to move it around and they even asked me what time I want it to be. This may be because I spoke the language, but if you don’t speak Spanish, don’t worry, they speak several languages as well, just make sure to call ahead to avoid misunderstanding.
I visited a lot of resorts in my life, specially in the Dominican Republic where I am from, and at first, it took me a while to get used to the safety and rules at this hotel. At some point I felt like I wasn’t on vacation, too much security, rules and dress code that I didn’t expect for a vacation in the carribean. I took me at least 2 days to follow the resort flow and understand that this is a family resort and therefore the rules and codes were meant for the safety of the kids and security of the adults.
