And here I go again with another post about my recent trip to Miami! I will definitely write a lot more about it, because far from what I learned about blogging; this conference has impacted my life as a woman of this era, my present, my future, and my role as a curly Latina Girl in the USA.
I learned or reinforced my beliefs that we all have insecurities but those insecurities must push us to do great things and go after our dreams. You will always see me smiling and gorgeous (yes you read that right!) in pictures. Nonetheless, somedays I don’t even have the motivation to talk and needless to say blogging. My followers on this journey, family, fans and friends – have saved my life and pushed me to be the best I could be.
It is not about our hair, I learned that, it is about us. I felt intimidated because I don’t quite fit the classic Latina look in US, because I may not have the latest dress or because I don’t know anybody; Other because they have a minor face surgery that doesn’t allow her to look her best, or because she has an accent or maybe because her hair is frizzy, or too short, or too tall, or too dark, or too young, or too old . A big shout out to those womam that came out their comfort zone a dare to be, to do a great thing. Don’t let anyone tell you, you can’t.
It is not just our hair that shines, it is our personality. Hair is just the cherry on top of the cake. We as women, are the whole cake
