Can you use chemical hair dye after Henna/ se puede usar tintes de pelo despues de henna

I love the freedom of Natural hair, and the diversity of style you can get, I been dye my hair with henna for a few month now and a high light and a hair color change  cross my mine; After a few minutes thinking, more than moth….yes I had this idea for months now……I call a hair stylist, and ohh my surprise her answer was that she can’t guaranty a hair color after henna, because she had bad result on client after using henna….

 Most brands (commercial grade) of henna have metalic compunds in them that react to chemicals in regular hair dye. Our hair has 3 Layers Medulla,Cortex, and Cuticle Henna is A Vegetable Dye if you used the Henna Than it has Penetrate the Cortex of the Hair and Build up. When this happens The Color is Permanent since the molecules are anchored in the cortex… In addition, if a henna product contains metals, the product may react strongly with other chemicals used in salon services.Since there is not a reliable product available to completely remove henna from the hair it is usually best to wait until the hair has grown out to perform a chemical service at home or Salon…

Henna and Chemical Hair dye don’t usually match, if mixed together they can sometimes cause adverse reactions on the hair. The best idea is to do a test strand to determine if your hair can accept the chemical dye properly. Find a place in your hair that is not very noticeable, like around the back of your head you can cut  a little piece of hair out and make sure that it is big enough to see the reaction but small enough that you do not notice it . This piece needs to be about the full length of your hair, not just the ends. Mix the chemical color dye and put it onto the test strand. Let it process for recommended time.
If after rinse, dry and look if the result were what you looking for and no bad reaction while processing then you are ready to dye your hair..

In my case I didn’t cut any strand of my hair, OFCOURSE, never ever, lol… I am not doing the high light myself, but I am not going to a hair salon to pay for a test that I can do my self, I went to the beauty supply and got my supplies for around $5.00

 Me encanta la libertad de pelo natural, y la diversidad de estilo que se puede lograr, he estado usado henna por  unos meses y he estado pensando en  un cambio de color; Después de unos minutos pensando, más bien unos meses …. sí, yo tenía esta idea desde hace meses …… llame a una estilista, y ohh mi sorpresa su respuesta fue que ella no puede garantizar un color de pelo después de henna, porque ha tenido mal resultados en clientes  después de usar henna ….

La mayoría de las marcas (de calidad comercial) de henna tienen compuestos metálicos  que reaccionan a las sustancias químicas en tintes de cabello regular. Nuestro cabello tiene tres capas de médula, corteza y cutícula, henna es un colorante vegetal si ha utilizado la Henna esta  penetra en la corteza del cabello y se acumulan. Cuando esto sucede, el color es permanente ya que las moléculas están anclados en la corteza … Además, si un producto contiene metales henna, el producto puede reaccionar fuertemente con otros productos químicos utilizados. Como no hay un producto  fiable para eliminar por completo la henna en el cabello por lo general es mejor esperar hasta que el pelo ha crecido para llevar a cabo un servicio de químicos en el hogar o salón …

Henna y tinte para el cabello por lo general no coinciden, si se mezclan pueden causar reacciones adversas en el cabello. La mejor idea es hacer una prueba para determinar si el cabello acepta el tinte correctamente. Encuentra  un lugar en tu cabello que no sea muy notable, tal vez  por la parte trasera de su cabeza, puedes cortar un pedazo de cabello y asegúrese de que es lo suficientemente grande para ver la reacción, pero lo suficientemente pequeño que no se note. Esta pieza tiene que ser de toda la longitud del pelo, no sólo los extremos. Mezcle el tinte  y ponlo en el mechón. Dejar el tinte  durante el tiempo recomendado.
Si después de enjuagar, secar y ver si el resultado es lo que buscas y no notas  mala reacción entonces está lista  para teñir el pelo ..

En mi caso yo no corte ningún mechón de  pelo, por supuesto, nunca jamás, lol … No voy hacer el proceso yo misma, pero no voy a pagar por una prueba, así que fui al beauty supply y compre un kit para rayitos o luces por  $ 5.00.
